Data controller

RAM Nordic AB is the data controller for the personal data you provide to us.

Why we process your data

We process your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interest in maintaining contact with our customers and suppliers. We also need to process your personal data in order to fulfil legal obligations arising from, for example, accounting legislation.

The data may also be used for the purpose of developing and analysing our business, on the basis of our legitimate interest in marketing, documenting and developing our business and communicating with our contacts.

Sharing with third parties

We will not disclose personal data to third parties except in cases where (i) it has been specifically agreed between us and you, (ii) it is necessary for us to fulfil a legal obligation or comply with a decision by a public authority or court, or (iii) we engage third-party service providers who perform tasks on our behalf.

How long we keep your data

Your personal data will be stored for as long as it is necessary for us to fulfil our obligations. We also retain personal data in accordance with our legal obligations for a period of seven years from the date of accounting, or for a longer period if required by the nature of the case.

Data processed for the purpose of documenting, developing and analysing our business is stored for a period of three years after the last contact.

Your rights

You have the right to request information from us free of charge about the use of your personal data. At your request or on our own initiative, we will correct or delete any data that is incorrect, or restrict the processing of such data.

You also have the right to request that your data is not processed for direct marketing purposes. You have the right to receive your personal data in a machine-readable format or, if technically possible, to have the data transferred to a third party of your choice.

Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with our processing, you can submit a complaint to a supervisory authority. In Sweden this is the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, IMY (imy.se).

Transfers outside the EU/EEA

We do not routinely transfer personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA. Limited transfers may occur in connection with business travel to our suppliers, for example when contact details are shared to arrange visits or meetings. You will be informed in advance of any such transfer.
