The RAM-B-177-C consists of a glare shield clamp base, short double socket arm and diamond base adapter. This mount is designed to mount to the lip edge of a flat surface up to 5/8" thick. Popular mounting edges include a car side window edge lip or glare shield on an airplane. The base has two composite bolts that, when tightened, clamp the base to the lip surface. The 2.43" x 1.31" diamond base contains two holes 1.912" from center to center, matches the industry standard AMPS hole pattern and will connect to a large variety of RAM Mount and third party cradles. The mount is designed with a RAM 1" diameter patented rubber ball and socket system that has adjustment points at both ends of the double socket arm this allowing for almost infinite adjustment and perfect viewing angles.
