The RAM-VP-CAP1 is a protective cap that covers lower RAM® Tele-Pole™ in your vehicle when it is not supporting your upper pole & swing arm assembly. If you ever need to temporarily remove your laptop mount but do not want to uninstall the base, simply lift the upper pole assembly out and plug the lower pole with this rubber cap accessory to protect your passengers from any sharp edges.
