The RAM-108-G1 consists of the 1" dia. ball and socket system with RAM Universal 2.5" diameter Plate and connection hardware. This mount is designed to be a universal mounting solution for both RAM and non-RAM designed products. The hole pattern found on the 2.5" Plate will connect to a large variety of third party cradles and mounts. The strap mount base fits a rail diameter from 1.0" to a maximum of 1.9". The 1" rubber ball is at a right angle to the mount base placing the ball at a right angle to the rail. Included with the base is one 6.0" and one 8.0" long metal strap is included with this base along with a 5.5" long (approximate) strip of rubber to avoid any scratching or marking of your rail.
