A rigid neoprene-covered plate is placed inside a backpack, preferably one with a hip/waist belt. Fits backpacks from small 10–12L alpine models up to larger 30L hiking packs. No sharp edges and does not interfere with avalanche airbag systems. With a 360 or wide-angle mode on your action camera*, the included 18" (46 cm) flexible aluminum pole provides full coverage—from skis to head when skiing or snowboarding. Especially with 360 cameras, it creates the right perspective for maximum editing freedom, allowing effects like a “drone view,” even in forest terrain. For best stability, tighten the backpack properly. Adding clothing inside helps press the plate firmly against your back when tightening the waist belt. Also use side straps or ski carry straps. The more stable the plate, the better the footage. Shorter or longer poles are available for different camera angles and positions. In rough conditions (hard snow, jumps, uneven terrain, MTB), shorter poles may provide better stability, while longer poles offer more dynamic angles.
